Chances are you’d recognise the iconic Ray-Ban glasses in any situation. The legendary Aviator frames are ever popular worldwide both as glasses and sunglasses, as are the Wayfarers. Innately retro in design and appearance the Wayfarer glasses have seen a dramatic resurgence in their popularity thanks to the trend for ‘Geek Chic’ being championed by stars such as Jay Z, Drew Barrymore and many more of today’s style conscious celebrities and trendsetters.
The Ray-Ban models are available as prescription glasses, along with oversized option in the men’s and women’s collections. Inspiration from previous eras has captured the imagination of Ray-Ban and they are notorious for issuing classic glasses with forward thinking twists.
Techology in design of Men’s and women’s frames include memory metal options that represent the perfect option for people who lead active lives and demand their glasses stand up to tough treatment. Ray-Ban’s Memo-Ray frames are a nickel-titanium mix that is corrosion-resistant and fits comfortably irrespective of head size. The titanium in the frame is as strong as steel but only 60% its density meaning that these frames offer the best of both worlds, being lightweight and virtually indestructible.
